BCI Meeting 2010

Workshops

Please note: All AV requests must be complete by Friday, May 28, 5 PM EST.

The morning and afternoon of the second full day (Wednesday) and the morning of the third full day (Thursday) will be devoted to 3-hr workshops that will run concurrently. Each workshop will engage 25-30 participants and focus on a specific issue. The current list of workshop topics is shown below.

The workshop leaders (2-3 for each workshop) will be volunteers from among those with relevant expertise and interest. They will be asked to develop plans for the session in the weeks prior to the meeting. Each workshop can combine invited talks, targeted discussions, and/or sharply focused debates as the leaders see fit. The immediate substantive result of each workshop will be a 15-min summary presentation scheduled for a plenary session of all meeting attendees on the afternoon of the third full day (Thursday). The workshop leaders will also be responsible for producing a succinct summary of their workshop and its outcome for the Journal of Neural Engineering special issue devoted to the meeting.

We have set up a conference Wiki to facilitate interactions among workshop members, the Wiki homepage is located at: http://bcimeeting.org/wiki/. When you visit the Wiki for the first time, you must create a personal account by clicking on the “Register” link on the right side of the page next to the login fields. Once you have registered and logged in, you will be able to suggest topics for discussion, edit Wiki pages, leave comments on specific pages, upload and download files to specific pages, etc.

Here is the current list of workshop topics. Meeting participants are encouraged to send their comments and suggestions for changes to vaughan@wadsworth.org
