Abstracts

The entire program book can be downloaded here (WARNING: this is a large file, around 45 MB in size). Individual abstracts can be accessed from the Research Session or Posters page.

Basic Poster Session Guidelines

Each poster will be assigned a space approximately 45 inches by 45 inches (114 cm x 114 cm). We recommend that your poster be less than this size (perhaps 36 inches or 1 meter wide at the most) to allow enough space between posters. Please make sure the title of your poster matches the title of your submitted paper.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

We solicit extended abstracts in any area of BCI. Abstracts should not exceed 2 pages. Authors are invited to submit their manuscript using this template (LaTex version). Submission of manuscripts must be done electronically at https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/BCI2013/. Authors will register with the site and create a password to manage their submission. Authors should upload a PDF version of their manuscript to facilitate the review process and later distribution.

The abstract should state concisely what was done and why, what was found, and the relevance.

Abstracts will be peer reviewed by at least 2 reviewers. Accepted abstracts will be assigned either to an oral or poster session.

The Journal of Neural Engineering and the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation will publish special issues of selected submitted abstracts to this meeting. Authors of selected abstracts will be invited to submit an extended version that will undergo the journal standard peer review process.

For further questions regarding the abstract management process, please contact José del R. Millán or Robert Leeb.
